About Cleaning Patches

A cleaning patch is a small piece of soft material like t-shirt material (highly recommend buying the t-shirt type cleaning patches at Walmart) or special paper which are slid into patch loops and pushed down the barrel of your gun. Different calibers require different sizes of patch, the idea being to achieve maximum surface contact between the patch and the barrel while still being able to slide the patch easily down the barrel.
